Small village of Dalton approached on the road from Annan.
Dalton consists of the usual requirements of a small village. Rows of cottages, a small shop
incoporating a Post Office, a hotel and in a church nearby all located at or near a road junction.
Dalton as seen when approached from Lochmaben.
This road leads off to Carrutherstown, to the left is Annan and to the right is Lochmaben
The old church ruins are situated in the graveyard and are fenced off because of their dangerous state.
